SKLZ Catapult Soft Toss Baseball Pitching Machine

The Catapult Soft Toss Pitching Machine allows you to work on both the offensive and defensive aspects of your game. You can use regulation baseballs for soft toss or to practice footwork and glove-hand ball transfer. Alternatively, you can use 9" plastic balls for pop fly practice. The unit adjusts for height and distance, and it serves balls every 8 seconds.

To use the machine, first add up to 8 baseballs to the Spiral Ball Funnel prior to starting. Before adjusting the ball flight angle, turn the Catapult off and loosen the trajectory lever knob at the front of the machine. Adjust the leg up or down to set the desired ball flight angle, then tighten the trajectory lever knob. Stabilize the Catapult by adjusting the rear stability bar. Unscrew the knobs on both sides of the bar and adjust the height so that the bar rests on the ground, then secure it in place by tightening each knob.

To adjust the ball throwing distance, use the adjustable distance knob. Tighten the knob to increase the distance, and loosen it slowly to decrease the distance.

The Catapult can be powered by 4 D batteries (not included) or the provided AC adapter. If using the AC adapter, connect it to the side of the Catapult base below the power switch. If using batteries, flip the Catapult over, press down on the black tab, and slide the battery cover off. Install the batteries as shown. Turn the product on to power it up and off to power it down. Ensure that all persons and pets are clear of the Catapult and the path of the ball before powering it on.
